Production / Material Planner, Demand & Forecast (Manufacturing Plant MNC @Tuas)

- European MNC / with own Manufacturing plant in Singapore
- Tuas (Islandwide more than 20 transport MRT pickup points)
- 5 days / Mon – Fri: 8 am to 4.45 pm
- Permanent role / 1 month AWS and Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Planning Manager
- Work with equipment team, manufacturing, process team, warehouse, facility and procurement team to determine the resources needed to meet production schedules
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate levels of raw materials according to the achievable lead time
- Raise purchase requisitions resources through the procurement department and monitors scheduled lead time of good received
- Works with procurement to improve performance of vendors and work with engineering team for quality improvements
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Equipment & Production department on all the changes, test run and projects alignment to production plan
- Analyze customer's demand forecast and purchase patterns to identify optimum inventory planning and reduce working capita
- Monitor and manage critical product and high risk material to prevent line down for both parties
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures for product / material control systems
- Recommend and implement methodologies to optimize inventory turn ratio and indicator
- Undertake any ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Logistic, Transportation, Supply Chain (SCM)
Min 2 years of supply chain in spare parts planning in manufacturing / production MNC - Good in management big pool of data using SAP, MS Excel formulas, Macro, MRP software and etc
- Self-driven with hands-on ability to work in details independently and as a team player
