Sir Manasseh Meyer International School, an International School in Singapore, is seeking a dynamic IPC/IMYC Coordinator.
This is a full-time position, with competitive salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience.
Primary purpose:
- To lead the IPC/IMYC programme of study and enrichment for all students from K2 to Grade 8.
- To organise and coordinate training, support and advice on the management and effective implementation of the IPC/IMYC across the school.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
- Professional Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in International education, specifically IPC and IMYC.
- Experience of Middle Leadership at Departmental level.
- A track record of Good or Outstanding teaching.
- Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience of IPC or IMYC.
- Experience and knowledge of Curriculum design and development.
Knowledge, Understanding, Skills and Abilities
- Good knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
- Thorough understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
- The ability to use ICT effectively to engage students
- The ability to develop, and lead the development, of an outstanding curriculum in the context of a growing school
- An understanding of how to use assessment to inform planning for good teaching/learning
- Evidence of appropriate in-service training
- Excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.
