  • Working at a dynamic and nimble start-up organisation, the Head of Brokerage - SEA will be responsible for driving sales in the region. The expectation from the founders will be high, but the rewards for successful candidate will be fantastic.

    Our client is an all new online trading brokerage providing Forex Trading and other related services. They are founded with one clear objective - to provide traders with safe, easy, as well as low cost access to foreign exchange markets. The founders and partners are all traders themselves and have extensive trading experience in Forex and CFD, and the shareholders are all reputable figures in the financial services industry.
     
    Description
     
     
    Whilst this is a start-up and the role will require you to wear many hats, the main expectation is to build out the business in the SEA region. Operating out of Singapore, the Head of Brokerage - SEA will be:-
    • Responsible for the acquisition of new markets and client account openings (retail and institutional) across South East Asia to ensure and meet the given net AUM generated, gross revenue generated and net realised profit KPIs
    • Responsible for the acquisition and recruitment of Introducing Brokers (IBs) globally to ensure and meet the aforementioned KPIs
    • Responsible for the recruitment and management of full time Relationship Managers (RMs) for the client across the region
    • Development, budgeting, creation, execution and oversight of the client's regional business strategies
    • Assist in new product development/improvement as appropriate based on clients need and feedback
    Profile
     
    In order to apply for the Head of Brokerage - SEA role, candidates must be able to demonstrate significant experience in the following areas:-
    • A degree level education at a reputable institution
    • Be regulated to perform sales and trades in the region
    • Have successfully run a similar sales desk before. Ideally for a recognised brokerage
    • Have a strong network of clients that they could approach to develop new business
    • Be highly adaptable and nimble in their decision making processes
    • Have a strong personal brand that they can leverage both internally and externally
    Job Offer
     
    $180,000 to $240,000 base with a significant bonus / comms package on top
