General/Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Perform sample preparation (cross section, delayering, decapsulation) using FIB and other preparation techniques.
- Perform failure analysis using various tools and instruments such as CSAM,SEM/EDX, 3D X-ray and OBIRCH/PEM.
- Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical technique and data interpretation;
- Prepare analytical reports;
- Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;
- Participate/assist in new failure analysis techniques development;
- Perform routine instrument preventive maintenance and laboratory housekeeping;
- Maintain stock of chemicals and in-charge in purchasing some of the chemicals.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; Material Science Engineering; Science & Technology;
- Must be able to perform FA study individually and work well in teams;
- Experience in FA techniques including: Sample preparation (cross section, delayering, decapsulation) and X-SEM/EDX, X-Ray, OBIRCH/ TIVA/ PEM and FIB would be preferred;
- Experience in Wafer Fab/Semiconductor/LED/EMS/Packaging/Solar/HDD industries would be useful;
- A team player who can be independent, hardworking with a persevering attitude; willing to perform swing/night shift duties;
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply, experience with more than 2 years will be considered with Senior position.
