  • The Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre (NTC) invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager, Entrepreneurship Development Programs.
     
    Responsibilities
     
    Program Development
    • The MEDP will need to keep abreast of the latest trends and development in the innovation and start-up space, and propose and create curricula that address the needs of the industry with regard to these areas.
    • Understanding competitor offerings will be essential, in order to effectively position NTC's EDPs in the marketplace.
    • The MEDP will contract and work closely with instructors, both NTU academics and industry practitioners, to deliver the classes.
     
    Marketing and Publicity
    • The MEDP will be responsible for the financial viability of the EDP, and will market the programs in appropriate channels.
    • The effectiveness of marketing and publicity activities will be critical to the success of the EDP as well as building the NTC/NTU entrepreneurship education brand.
     
    Program Delivery
    • The MEDP will evaluate and propose suitable instructors for the programs, and contract them for fulfilment of all EDPs.
    • The MEDP will also work with various internal and external vendors to organize logistics required, e.g. classrooms, hostels, catering, etc.
     
    Financial Management
    • The MEDP will prepare the budget for each financial year; and
    • Monitor progress according to the forecasted revenue and expense, to ensure proposed financial targets are met.
     
    Team management
    • The MEDP will manage a small team of supporting staff for fulfilment logistics and documentation.
    • Motivate team members to achieve desired financial and operational outcomes.
     
    Requirements
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing education programs
    • Knowledge of entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem will be essential
    • A comprehensive network of industry contacts, including government, large corporations, SMEs and the start-up community would be an advantage
    • Diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline
    • Creative and ability to conceptualize and develop educational programs that meet industry need
    • Meticulous and eye for details in planning and organizing delivery of programs
    • Energetic and passionate about the business of executive education
    • Strong team player
    • Integrity is a must
