The human resources team is here to ensure that we have the right people, with the right skills. I am responsible for developing the HR department to support our growth. I am putting the policies, procedure and processes in place. I take care of Dyson’s people; our most important asset.
Why do you enjoy working at Dyson?
Dyson’s expansion plan has really excited me. They have ambitious plans to grow the Singapore team by 700%. And I look forward to seeing what Dyson can do and how I can grow professionally with the team.
What inspires you?
The challenge, direction and plan that Dyson has set for us moving forwards. Having challenges to overcome really drives me.
What is your favourite invention?
The aeroplane – since it was commercialized, it has made the world much smaller by making traveling and moving things around the world so much easier. I just really like it for being able to take me anywhere quickly and easily. I can’t wait for when they finally invent a teleporter.
Dyson is known for its bagless vacuum cleaners, bladeless fans and efficient hand dryers. Innovation is its lifeblood and it invests S$2million a week in developing its new technology. Dyson machines are exported to 50 countries and it employs over 2,500 people worldwide.
Dyson are ambitious and they have big plans for Singapore. They are growing their operation here by 700% and are on the look out for Singapore’s brightest minds.
