I chose DBS because I wanted to work for a company that gives me the room to develop my own career path, based on my personal goals and aspirations. DBS has been a great place to work as it has given me numerous opportunities to excel in my career.

What do you enjoy about working as a Business Director in DBS?
I enjoy being able to develop and lead DBS’ consumer banking Franchise which forms a core part of DBS’ business.
What is your job like?
I lead 7 branches in the North region within the DBS Franchise. I manage sales, services, operations and business quality for these branches. This involves working closely with the product managers to ensure that all our customers are served well.
What qualities do you look for in a candidate keen to join us as a Senior Relationship Manager (SRM), Insurance Sales Specialist (IS) or a Service Executive?
For SRM and IS candidates, I look for traits found in staff who have been successful in sales – being self-motivated and driven, having strong passion and commitment to sales and service, good interpersonal skills and who are persevering. .
For Service Executives, I will look for candidates who demonstrate a strong service DNA pleasant personality, strong passion and commitment to deliver great service.
