To provide a high standard of personalized service to the Patients during Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea break and water services in accordance with the policies, standards, and guidelines set by Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. To work closely with the Nurses in ensuring coordinated quality services for the patients. To assist in setting up and providing food service for meetings and functions.
a. To ensure patients are served their entitled meals accordingly and in the standards as specified in the standard transaction mapping b. Manage all pantry equipment and mise-en-place in the pantry assigned to facilitate smooth FNB services. c. Conduct regular inventory and maintain all equipment allocated to the assigned pantry d. Wash and clean all soiled crockery/cutlery after every meal period in the pantry e. Work closely with the chef assigned to the pantry in looking after the meal requirements of the patients f. To assist in any other tasks whenever necessary in other section within FNB Department.
Qualifications & Experience
a. Minimum PSLE or equivalent with a pass in English. b. Completed all courses conducted by National Environment Agency (NEA) or Basic Hygiene Courses on sanitation and hygiene related matters where applicable. a. Preferably with experience in a similar position in a hotel, restaurant, or institutional establishment b. Able to speak, write and read English and preferably be able to understand one or more local dialects.
