about the job
This position is responsible for executive level administrative support for Managing Director level, other senior professionals and assist the Office Manager on general administration work on an ad-hoc basis. The core tasks include scheduling, coordinating meetings, travel planning, contact management, obtaining supplies, filing and special projects. In addition, this role will assist the Office Manager with day to day administrative responsibility for the office operation as needed and back up/cover other administrative assistant when absent at work on vacation/medical leave. This role will need to deal with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Attention to detail is a must and independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.

This role will support a Managing Director who is newly relocated to Singapore. There will be secondary secretarial support to another Vice President.
skills & experience required
The ideal incumbent must possess solid communication skills both written and verbal, with a strong eye for details and is meticulous. This role is well-suited for somebody who can multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure. You will also need to maintain confidentiality and work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a team. Candidates with working experience in financial institutions may be preferred. The ability to start work at short notice is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook is required
