Your new company
Our Client is an International Developer with Construction projects based in Asia and Singapore. Due to the emergence of a landmark development, an opportunity has arisen for a Leader with strong background in Document Control Services to join their Singapore office as a Senior Manager.
Your new role
In this role, you will lead a team and work closely with the site document managers, contractor document managers and consultant document managers to draft procedures and workflow to deliver good Document Control Service for all project packages during the constructions and operations. Besides monitoring the effectiveness & execution of the document control management system, you will also control the creation, approval, revision and re-approval, distribution, and prevention of use of obsolete material by any individual associated with the certification programs, oversee and store all documents related to authority submission and approvals received from Consultants including warranties and indemnities, permits, certificates for all packages.
On a weekly basis, you will attend & manage meetings and update the management and project team the status of project deliverables such as contractor's submission, design and shop drawings. This will include supporting different business units, provide as-built drawings & documents upon request, assisting Project Managers for drawings review, upload and transmit to the relevant parties via EDMS, provide assistance in tenancy works, operators & licensing. Other key responsibilities include assisting in the internal and external auditing for all projects documentations, supporting different business unit in the printing and scanning the drawings, distribute documents received or issued as per the distribution matrix, editing, modifying & computing the drawings using AutoCAD, filing & storing of hard copy drawings and documents for future reference and retrievals.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experiences in the Construction and Project Management industry. You should have good understanding & ability to operate, organize & maintain the electronic / manual document management system provided for the project. Besides being technically proficient with systems like AutoCAD, EDMS, you should also have confidence leading a team, be proactive with strong presentation and communication skills to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders, external consultants and document managers from a diverse background.
