Senior Ethics & Compliance Officer ASEAN
Our client is leading Medical Devices MNC and we are helping them recruit for an experienced Senior Ethics & Compliance Officer for their ASEAN operations.
In this position you will play a critical role in the successful implementation of the company's Internal Control Framework and compliance programs, this role will support ASEAN strategy to ensure that the right product gets to the right patient or consumer in the right way. This role moreover supports company's mission to help people live healthier and longer lives.
In this role, you will ensure effective compliance oversight of the ASEAN business, with a specific focus on the commercial operations whilst also bridging across the other support functions supporting the establishment of internal controls and promoting a values based compliance culture throughout the organization.
You will build partnerships with senior leaders and cross business stakeholders to lead the implementation of a values based compliance program ensuring an alignment between the affiliates and overall business strategies. You will work to proactively identify, evaluate and manage risks in accordance with company's internal control framework whilst enabling business growth. You will provide insight, share best practice and provide guidance to build, test and validate the robustness of business controls and establish and develop the credibility of the function.
Most of all you will play an active and energetic role in creating a culture where our client's values underpin a robust compliance mindset.
To be successful in this role:
You will have experience within a similarly focused compliance role and have an excellent foundation of knowledge in relation to internal control frameworks, risk management principles and developing business engagement with compliance in practice. You will be adept at understanding business strategy and working in partnership with senior leaders to support their business objectives whilst delivering on a compliance framework. Most of all you will be a highly skilled communicator, be able to ask the right questions, challenge and influence to effect change and establish credibility with senior leaders. Experience within the medical devices/pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage, as would experience working within related, highly regulated industries.
