A well established hardware company with a track record of success is currently looking to strengthen their position in APAC by hiring an experienced Senior Account Manager (Public Sector) who can build relationships with senior stakeholders in the public sector.
About the Senior Account Manager (Public Sector) role:
As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for opening doors and leveraging your skills to build long term business connections. You will also focus on identifying new opportunities working together with channel partners.
- Proactively build new relationships and expand the company's reach into the public sector
- Work together with partners to increase revenue and set the foundation for long term collaborations
- Create formal proposals and presentations to be delivered to internal and external stakeholders
- Close deals in a an effective and professional manner
- Staying update on market trends as well as technical developments and public/ government guidance and regulations
- Reliably create forecasts and maintain a transparent and honest line of communication with senior management
To succeed in this Senior Account Manager (Public Sector) role, you will need to have eight years' experience in working with public agencies.
- Preferable a network within defence industry
- Strong knowledge in security products will be helpful
- Track record of success in meeting and exceeding quotas
- Excellent presentation and solution selling skills
- Ability to manage tight deadline and interact with key stakeholders
