A Research Engineer position is immediately open at the Optical Bioimaging Lab, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore. This position is supported by a NMRC (National Medical Research Council) research grant, which aims to develop novel light microscopy techniques for deep tissue imaging.
The successful candidate will be involved in animal imaging experiments with multiphoton focal modulation microscopy systems.
He/she will need to work closely with other research staffs in the project to design and conduct imaging experiments with small animals, assist in image processing and analysis, and help manage the lab.
BEng degree in Biomedical Engineering/Instrumentation or equivalent
Hands-on experience with optical alignment
Experience with animal imaging experiments
Self-motivated and self-starter
Excellent communication skills
