My client is a growing investment company looking for a portfolio champion to support and manage their key business projects.
Monitor performance of current investments, including reviewing financial and operating reports, monitoring compliance with investment/financing covenants and ensuring governance and compliance requirements are met
Prepare regular investment and portfolio performance reports for Board, Investment and Divestment Committee and shareholders
Monitor market developments and macro-economic conditions affecting portfolio investments and highlight risks and opportunities to the Business Development team and to senior management.
Manage divestment/exits, including identifying potential investors, advising senior management on strategy and timing
Prepare information memos and other documentation, managing due diligence process, negotiating terms, managing completion process
Support decision making process of the Board and Investment and Divestment Committee, including coordinating meetings and agendas, preparing papers and presentations, and providing investment recommendations for approval
Degree in Finance, professional qualification e.g. ACCA, ACA, or an MBA with focus on finance preferred
At least 12 years working experience in Asia with track record of asset management and board level experience
Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative.
Ability to take decisions independently
Team player and good at managing different stakeholders, including at senior management and board level
Strong written and oral communications skills including ability to present complex situations and recommend actions.
Have an interest, or experience of, working with international development institutions and Asia in particular
