They are seeking an Executive Assistant to Head of Asia as replacement role due to internal mobility.
about the manager
The role reports to a Head of Asia who has a dual portfolio of running country operations for Singapore and Malaysia with a total headcount of about 450 and also as the head of sales for the region. This individual comes with experience predominantly from Europe and Asia in the last 5 years with Singapore as the base in the last one year. Passionate about the company, this leader is energetic, empathetic, driven and focused on getting the job done well. This individual reports in a highly matrix structure requiring them to work across various time zones from Asia to EMEA and the US, engaging multiple stakeholders and complex operations.
about the job
You are supporting the Head of Asia solely but also responsible for any country operational support for events, workshops and corporate events for both entities. Your key role and responsibilities include managing a busy travel schedule and itinerary, expense claims, secretarial support and and event planning and management. You will act as the right hand support ensuring that you are setting up all operational requirements and admin support for your boss to function efficiently under high pressure situations to ensure the schedule runs smoothly and anticipate any requirements to keep pace with your boss. Apart from providing administrative support, you will also be well versed in assisting on powerpoint slides, working with various country EAs to plan and schedule meetings across time zones and have a strong cultural acumen to work well with global stakeholders. The role will offer some flex to work remotely and great benefits that match the role.
skills and experience required
You must come with at least 8-10 years of secretarial support preferably with experience in a technology industry. You will well versed MS Work, MS Excel, MS Project, Power Point applications and skilled in supporting C-Suite professionals in a corporate environment.
You are someone who is calm under pressure, well versed in acting as an efficient functional support to top level leaders who hold a global portfolio.
