NTUC U Creative is a community for creative professionals in Singapore. At the heart of this community is the desire to unite the fragmented creative industry through exchange of ideas and networking with fellow creative professionals. We also want to empower creative individuals to chart their own career path and facilitate them to acquire the skills and knowledge to be future-ready.
We are looking for an awesome community manager to join the U Creative team to help us strengthen the community spirit and connection with the Labour Movement. This person will assist to plan and organise events for offline engagement, curate content for the online community (https://www.facebook.com/UCreativeSG/), listen to and engage with community members regularly, identify and work closely with partners to grow the community further.
1) Develop and implement community strategy
a) Develop a blueprint for growing and strengthening the community, as part of the Labour Movement’s outreach to the working people of Singapore
2) Create and curate content for U Creative online community
a) Work with the appointed agency to produce relevant and engaging content
b) Flex your copy writing skills for social media posts, marketing messages and publicity collaterals
3) Organise events of all sizes
Take ownership of events and campaigns from ideation to execution
4) Be the face for U Creative Team
a) Provide exemplary engagement and support for community members and strengthen community links to the Labour Movement
b) Engage partners who share the same vision to support the community and connect such like-minded partners to the larger NTUC ecosystem.
- Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience and network in the creative industry
- Good overview of the creative industry in Singapore
Results oriented personnel who have demonstrated good track record in community building and handling business partnerships
Organised personnel with eyes of details with experience in online and offline engagement
Strong written and spoken communication skills, good in Microsoft Powerpoint and presentation skills
Pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills and people oriented
