An exciting senior regulatory role is now on offer with a global investments house. Working closely with investment teams on transactions, applicants will need solid M&A exposure and proven expertise with the regulatory aspects of public M&A or capital markets transactions which involve global businesses operating in regulated regions. A demonstrated working knowledge of takeover regulations and listing rules of one or more common law jurisdictions would be looked upon favourably. As this is a senior position within the team, applicants will need to be able to guide and lead junior team members.
Successful candidates will possess:
- A recognized Law degree and at least 7PQE gained in-house in a financial institution or in the regulatory practice of a law firm. Prior experience in a major international law firm or a similar in-house position would be desirable.
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment, both independently and with a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be able to influence internal and external stakeholders positively.
