You will be working for a Global Corporate Investment Bank, well positioned in Singapore and looking to build their presence in Asia with Singapore at the forefront of their development strategy.
Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage and lead a team of highly capable Client Onboarding and KYC professionals within a top tier corporate investment bank. Covering the full spectrum of due diligence and client data management, you will be hands-on in the lifecycle of client onboarding including clients new to the bank and reviewing the KYC documents of existing clients. A regional function, this position offers exposure to several key jurisdictions across APAC.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a detailed understanding of the current regulatory requirements in relation to the Client Onboarding and 'Know Your Client' process and offer ways to further improve and challenge current practices. You will be a subject matter expert in MAS 626, FATCA and other current regulations affecting client onboarding in order to ensure the bank is at the forefront of their client due diligence. You will be a proven people manger, capable of driving results and leading a team of high performing individuals.
