Our client is a reputable travel industry leader. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager selling into travel agents to join their team. This is an exciting portfolio for a strong sales oriented individual!
about the job
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for profitable revenue generation from assigned travel agencies and corporate incentive accounts for all brands. This role will have responsibility to close new business deas by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating, integrating requirements with business operations.
skills & experience required
This role requires you to be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines. You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- At least 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Travel industry background with regional sales experience preffered
- Diploma educated - Preferably in Business and/or Marketing
- Aggressive, self-motivated and with strong initiative
