Our client, a leading international legal firm with headquarters based in the United Kingdom is growing the regional Business Development team. An opportunity has arisen for a driven and passionate individual like you to join the Singapore office as a Business Development Assistant.
about the job
Being in a lean team across the APAC means you are allow to be involved and learn the ropes on the job at your own pace. You would bring in a fresh mind, perspective and creativity to the role, learn how a business development professional can support and make a difference to a highly established business within the legal sector. You deal with lawyers and professionals on a regular basis to support them in the growth of the business at all angles.
At the beginning, you could value add with your strong administration and coordination skill set. You would support the lawyers in putting together marketing collateral, pitch materials, tenders and bid information, legal directory submissions and running client related programmes and initiatives. Sounds interesting yet?
You would maintain a good library of templates and marketing related information, be the go to person for all marketing support function within the Singapore office and even in the region! When you are seasoned in your role, you may even get to draft pitches and collate client information, contributing to the firm's knowledge through market researches. Other daily operations include maintaining of the firm's website, events planning and logistics, client management activities and rolling out of initiatives across the region.

You report into a Business Development Manager based in Singapore and collaborate firm wide with the UK and the APAC region. In a highly driven environment, you are expected to be able to act independently, be resourceful and definitely display your passion to serve and being a team player. The firm looks at growing you as an individual who can be part of the future success to the organisation.
skills & experience required
You should be a degree qualified person with excellent communication skills and good writing skills. It would be an added advantage if you have any pass work experiences with marketing/legal/professional services firm. With the right passion and aptitude to learn, this role could jump start your career as a successful marketing professional.
