Our client is an established name in Relocations business with International Partners globally. Originally from India where they have been operating successfully for over 3 decades. Though they started on a small scale, they have grown enormously over the years with an annual turn-over in excess of US$90 Million.
They are a growing relocation company with its focus on providing best-in-class services not only for household move but also corporate and international moves. They also assist companies in relocating expatriates and supporting their employees in moving to and settling in various countries globally, including Singapore.
As they are planning to expand their operations in Asia, they are looking to hire a dynamic Business Development Manager in Singapore, who with his skills and network will be able to help establish the Group’s presence in Singapore.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to achieve business development targets in accordance with business goals. You will be accountable to proactively identify new and potential clients and develop a strong business pipeline. Since this is a Green-field opportunity, you would also be required to drive market profiling and key clients’ research and analysis activities to understand and identify potential market opportunities and challenges.
You will also be the lead for customer meetings via direct sales. You would be required to contact and acquire new clients through phone call, networking with Industry experts by participating in industry seminars and conferences amongst other things, and client referrals.
As the BD Manager you would drive professional sales presentation to clients and present company’s capabilities in relocation services and all other professional services that are provided by the Group. You would be expected to understand client’s expectation and ensure all business proposals are delivered within the timeframe.
You will be responsible to establish and implement targeted sales and marketing plans as well as ensure compliance throughout the process.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Corporate Sales preferably in Relocations or Logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to perform in a start-up environment.
- Proactive, self-starter and results-driven.
