Accountant (6-Month Contract)

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions for companies within the business unit in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures. The scope includes monthly financial closing, review of journals, bank reconciliation and audit schedules, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will also be liaising with the relevant process owners to facilitate the monthly financial closing and review accounts submitted by outsourced accounting firms. Other responsibilities include liaising with the auditor and tax agent on the statutory audit and tax matters, and any ad hoc assignments as required.
You should possess a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or its equivalent, preferably with at least 4 years' accounting or audit experience with large corporations. To succeed in this role, you should be a meticulous, analytical, innovative and self-motivated team player. Other key attributes include excellent communication and written skills, resourcefulness and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP ERP System will be an added advantage.
