A positive perception of the job market held by employers

There is a more positive economic outlook in the second half of the year, jobsDB dives into the sentiments and perceptions of candidates and hirers on the job market.

The following have been identified through jobsDB’s Market Outlook H2 survey:

  1. Optimistic sentiments on job market held by Hirers
    H2 sees an 28% decrease in hiring freeze compared to H1 2017.

  2. Fresh graduates are increasingly welcomed
    An increase of 8%, 70% of hirers are willing to hire fresh grads.

  3. Incomplete resumes are main cause of not getting shortlisted
    52% of hirers do not shortlist candidates due to their uninformative and outdated resumes.

The future belongs to those who evolve
82% of candidates had expressed their needs to attend courses to learn new skills and improve their existing skill sets their careers.
