Project management has become one of the most useful skills you can have in the modern business world. The ability to set clear objectives, create a realistic plan, and work together with your team to see the plan through to successful completion will set you apart from others who don't develop these important skills.
All projects benefit from planning, organisation and management. For example, think about how you would plan and organise a team-building retreat, or the office relocation, or even a complex multi-department effort involving hundreds of people.
In this interactive workshop, you will work with others in simulated project teams and learn how to create a realistic project plan using the same tools and techniques that are used by professional project managers. You will also learn how to set a schedule and budget, and actively manage the risks that could affect your project. You will learn how to manage your team effectively, to ensure the highest certainty of success.
You will also learn what to do when faced with common challenges including: unclear requirements, unrealistic deadlines, unrealistic budget, frequent changes, lack of direct authority, complex group dynamics and managing changes.
Peter packs this workshop full of practical tools and techniques that really work to ensure your own and your company's projects are run with the best chance of success!
