What are your future career goals that you would like to achieve?
I am focused on helping Hays become recognised as the best recruitment firm in Singapore. As we grow I look forward to watching the staff achieve their career goals and aspirations.
Queenie, what is your job like?
I am a senior consultant within Hays Banking and I specialise in the recruitment of wealth management and private bank front office staff.
My day consists of business development and relationship management, multiple interviews and constant networking. I speak with bankers and financial planners daily and lead a refreshing life because not a single day is the same within the banking industry.
What do you enjoy about your job?
Every part of my job is interesting and there's always a reason to celebrate. There's always immense satisfaction in successfully placing a candidate.
What are some highlights/achievements in your job?
Hays recognised my efforts and promoted me to senior consultant within a year of first joining the business. I was also awarded our New Consultant of the Year award for 2007/2008. I now manage a trainee consultant and I am happy every time something good comes her way in her new recruitment experience.

What are your future career goals that you would like to achieve?
My immediate goal would be to manage and lead a team of motivated consultants.
Irene, what is your job like?
Extremely busy! That's what I love about it - never a dull or spare moment! My role involves a combination of designing, developing and delivering classroom based training, providing HR advice to senior staff within Hays, HR reporting, internal recruitment and managing the training and internal recruitment functions.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I think I have the best job in the business! My role allows me to drive and influence the recruitment, training and development processes at Hays. Hays is the most successful recruitment business - our success is based on our people - I am proud to work with talented individuals who are driven and constantly strive to be the best.
