Considered one of the world’s finest, Asia Pacific’s largest bird park is a haven for 7,000 birds of 600 species. Its lush greenery, tranquil settings and colourful birds are a marvel in urban Singapore.
We profile some of Jurong BirdPark’s dedicated and passionate staff here.

For an after dark experience with a difference, discover the Night Safari — the world’s first safari park for nocturnal animals. Enjoy twilight views of over 1,000 animals of 120 species amid 40 hectares of lush secondary forest. Find out more about this amazing attraction from a Deputy Animal Keeper of elephants, and an Assistant Manager of its food outlet, Bongo Burgers.
My main goal is to breed all our female elephants. By achieving this we can send all of the offspring to different zoos to start good breeding programmes.
I like to be in the F&B service line. When I was young, I was influenced by my dad who also worked in this line.

Singapore Zoo has been known to have among the most beautiful settings in the world, where animals roam freely in open and natural habitats. Covering 28 hectares, 2,530 animals representing 315 species call this home. An Animal Show Presenter and an Operations Executive tell us what it’s like to work at the zoo. Being surrounded by nature tops the list. How many people can say that they can hear the call of gibbons, the sound of elephants trumpeting, or look up and be able to see orang utans playing, all while breathing in the fresh rainforest air, and get paid for it!
I enjoy interacting with people, and as an operations executive, my main job scope is to interact with guests and to ensure that they enjoy their time at the zoo.

Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Singapore Flyer at Marina Bay is the world's largest observation wheel.
We talk to some of the people that help to make this iconic attraction revolve with wonder and amazement.

Kenneth Ng works at Universal Studios Singapore, which is one of the upcoming tourist attractions at Resorts World at Sentosa
I work with our designers in the Universal Studios office in Los Angeles to create one of the best theme parks in the world. We pick the most exciting rides to be featured here – which is a feat, because all their rides are so exciting, and we have finite space.
