Sentosa 4D Magix presents to you an interactive movie experience with 4-dimensional digital effects. Built at a cost of S$3.5 million, this is the first 4D Theatre in Southeast Asia. Using a state-of-the-art digital projection system, movies come to life right off the big screen.

Specially imported seats help to create a whole new generation in movie magic. These seats are equipped with in-built speakers as well as environmental effects like water features, seat vibration, leg ticklers and base shakers to give you THE difference.

Be tossed about in your seats. Feel the wind blowing in your face and the water rushing your way. Let the synchronization of this wide spectrum of special visual, sound, motion and environmental effects put you right in the middle of the action.

Indika is an Operations Management Trainee

I’m from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and I initially came to Singapore to study management at MDIS.

This is my first job since graduation, and I’ve been really enjoying my time with Sentosa 4D Magix for the last one and a half years.

My job scope involves ensuring that the daily operations like show times, ticketing, run smoothly. I like my job as it’s hands-on and I get to move around our various attractions.

A plus point is that I get to meet different people from many countries every day. My priority is to make our customers happy and we will go the extra mile to ensure that they have a good time.

I firmly believe that Singapore has a bright future in the Tourism industry and look forward to learning and developing myself in this vibrant industry.

Ernie is a Cashier

I’ve been with Sentosa Magix for one and a half years, and besides cashiering and ticketing, I also help to ensure that the shows run on schedule and that our guests have a fun and memorable experience here!

I believe in providing good customer service, and I really enjoy talking to and helping our guests. So their smiles of appreciation always give me great satisfaction!

I enjoy working with my team and look forward to growing with Sentosa 4D Magix.

Jaga is the IT Manager

I’m from Chennai, India, and I’m charge of our IT department at Sentosa 4D Magix.

My job involves programming the ticketing system, maintaining the server and also providing monthly reports to the Marketing department so that they can plan their sales targets and strategy.

I really enjoy my workplace as we’re all like a big family here. Furthermore, the atmosphere is always fun and exciting as we’re in the tourism industry, and based in the scenic island of Sentosa!

My goal for the future is to fully automate and simplify our workflow so that we can be more efficient and serve our guests even better.

Prasad is the Technical Manager

My job’s main priority is making sure that all the equipment in our attractions works well for every show. The motion simulator in our Extreme Log Ride attraction for example, is very high-tech and has many moving parts, so it’s very important that all the key details are attended to.

As all the equipment for our shows are from countries like Canada and Belgium, I also communicate with our suppliers directly if there is a technical issue that needs to be solved.

Besides that, my day to day duties involve scheduling my staffs’ work roster and providing our guests with a fantastic multimedia entertainment experience at Sentosa 4D Magix!

I’m very upbeat about Singapore’s Tourism prospects in the future, and Sentosa is going to be one of the vibrant hubs that will provide good job prospects and opportunities for those who are willing to work hard and be prepared to make sacrifices.
