For dynamic individuals of the following background:
M&E Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and BQ, cost estimation, procurement support, follow up and handle claims & payment for the projects.
- Responsible in estimating, quantity take off and claims preparation.
- Experience in preparing of BQ/Tender documents.
- Prepare progress claims and verify disputes.
- Ensure LA/work orders from clients at initial stage.
- Handle/Monitor progress payment and variation claims.
- Filing of documents received for projects.
- Advise on tendering procedures and contractual arrangements.
- Estimate, develop and manage construction schedule, method statement, and temporary plan.
- Responsible for coordination/liaise with architects, sub-contractors, engineers, suppliers, consultants and other parties.
- Verification and certification of sub-contractor progress claims and payments.
- Quantification and submission of variation orders.
- To carry out pre and post contracts administration.
- Finalization of accounts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveyor, Civil/ Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in building construction in Singapore
- Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem solving skills, proactive, good attitude and team player
- Good spoken English & Mandarin in order to liaise with associate
- Singaporean/S’pore PR only
