INSPIRING STORY FROM K.K. Low

I was working as a Project Manager with a Japanese Construction company until I was laid off in January 2009 due to the recession.
For more than 11 months after I was laid off, I found it really hard to get a job even though I tried very hard and kept on applying through job sites and newspapers. What made it tough for me was that I had a lot of car and house repayments to pay as well.
I faced few legal proceedings from Telco, banks for HP & Credit card debts then.
I really felt like giving up until I started attending free seminars on Buddhism and it really helped to calm me down. The seminars slowly helped me to get my fighting spirit back and I’m glad to share that I’m now working as a professional Project Manager again.
Through these hardships that I have faced, I would like to share that it’s important for everyone to keep his/her body healthy, always strive to keep your heart, soul and mind clear and to always be humble and kind.
As for the future, I am also planning on putting my engineering expertise to good use by leading a charity movement to help build double-storey schools for children in less developed countries.
